Tonight I did the loop in Trinity that I have been running for the past few months. I had to squeeze this run in because a guy was coming by later to buy a bike that I had listed on Craigslist. As I type this I'm watching a fascinating NOVA episode about fractal mathematics and how those forms show up in nature. For example, they can detect tumors in tissue with more sensitivity by measuring the degree of randomness vs fractal behavior that is observed in bloodflow in the tissue. Healthy tissue exhibits fractal behavior whereas tumor tissue exhibits random behavior. Did anyone else see this?
